Training camp is nearing the end and the team's anticipation is growing as they think about finally heading to India. It has been a great week so far and it has been fun to watch the team grow together in unity over the last few days.

I wanted to take a minute to address something that happened in India this morning. Some bombs went off in Delhi about 40 minutes away from where the team stays. We take these matters seriously and therefore we wanted to let you know what was going on and to ask you to be praying for those in Delhi. The incident was in a very touristy area and so far the reports are that a number have people have died. I received an email from our staff in India with an assessment of the situation. His assessment is that the team should still go but I wanted to give you some framework for that decision.

Although it is rare for Delhi to be a target there is a relative amount of tension in India due to the Muslim extremists there and because of this the team has chosen the neighborhood where they stay very carefully. They haven't had any problems in that area. They are also very careful about going to areas heavily populated by tourists. If they have to go they avoid them when there are a lot of people around. They also keep well informed about areas of tension in the city and avoid those all together. While there is inherent risk when travelling abroad we use our best judgement and exercise caution when out in public. I tell you this so that you understand the process that we use for making the decisions we do regarding our teams and staff in India.
